Wheres the throttle cable at?
Maybe I'm blind but where the hell is the throttle cable at in the engine bay? I want to rev the engine without being in the car, and I dont know where its at in the bay? I guess I could ask someone to look while I'm revving it from inside the car, but no one is home for me to do that.

Yet another reason cables and linkages are superior: you can rev the engine without a helper. I don't expect any car makers to listen but I keep saying: Throttle should be a cable.
The genesis is a fly-by-wire, it's all electronically controlled so there is not cable. throttle input from the pedal is hijacked, censored, and spayed by the computer before being sent on to the electric motor controlling the butterfly. *sigh* sad is life of fly-by-wire throttles.
i guess it would make more sense to say drive-by-wire? close enough

traditional analog cable actuated throttle is a dying breed, and i despise DBW..
drive by wire = push gas pedal...vehicle ecu TB tells to open throttle.
Cable actuated throttle = push gas pedal...cable opens throttle.
another big reason why automakers are converting to this "double edge sword" technology is that it utilizes drive by wire for safety systems like electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control and so on..
all the more reason to drive cars of yore.
