Everyone always says I should be using full synthetic oil because of the turbo and stuff. My car has 50,000 miles on it and I've always used a durablend semi-synthetic with no problems. I dont beat on my car too much and the oil is always changed at the 3,000 mile mark. Am I setting myself up for big failure when the car gets closer to 100K miles and beyond because Im not using full synthetic?

If you don't use synthetic oil, it will break down sooner and require more frequent oil changes. You're doing more frequent oil changes. You should be ok, or close enough to ok to not tell the difference.

You might note decreased fuel economy in an A/B comparison, but not by much.
