Default Steering wheel peeling

My steering wheel is starting to get the famous peeling problem that plagues most Genesis owners. The car is out of warranty so I know the dealer wont replace it. I'm looking for some type of nice looking wheel cover that fits good and doesn't look cheap or ricey. Anybody have any suggestions or links of covers I can look at?

About the best thing you can buy is Wheelskins http://wheelskins.com/, they are the thinnest and tightest fitting on the market but take a little time and effort to install.

I know a place that does re-stitching but I'm all the way in Europe. I think the best thing you can do is just replace the steering wheel, or try to find a place that does re-stitching.

This was a problem on my 03 XD; you would think they would have figured that out by now. My 10' gencoupe seemed like it was getting ready to do that before I traded it.

I use a plain black slip on cover on my steering wheel.

Mine got real bad but the dealer replaced it under warranty. Now the new one is starting to peel a little too so Im probably just going to get a cover for it. Theres some people who are on their 3rd and 4th wheels because they peel so bad.

Strange, it's a problem on the 90's Hyundais but it's not THAT bad on them. My steering wheel on my '97 Tiburon is still great and it's got about 150k on the engine. Why would you make the steering wheel so cheap--the very thing you touch 100% of the time you're in a vehicle lol.

Check out the steering wheel on the 2017 Elantra Turbo's

D-cut and looks like high end leather wrap.

I noticed the Elantra wheels a few weeks ago. Pretty damn nice! Those are the wheels that Hyundai should have had in the Tibs, Gen Coupes and Sonata Sports.
