Stage 1 cams
Has anybody upgraded their cams yet in the coupes? I was looking at a set of the stage 1 cams from Power Division. I have the stock turbo, so I'm guessing my power increase will be somewhere in the 20-30 whp range. What I wanted to know from those who have these types of cams is what type of sound do they make. Will my engine have that real lumpy type of sound as if you had a bad spark plug or wire, or will it still have a somewhat stockish sound? I know the cams with higher lifts and duration give a real lumpy sound and you have to do alot of upgrades to the springs and retainers. Thanks all.

Dood. Its a bad idea. Some guy bought cams for the genesis and had it tuned. It made less power then the stock cams. You'll need a super hard core turbo to even get power down for cams. You would have to be pushing well over 350-400+ HP to get use out of them. They're useless with the stock turbo. Stock cams are good as it is. dont drop your money on that.
