Default Shifting from 4 to 6

Lately, when I'm driving....if I'm I'm going from a stop or slow speed to 55+, I have been shifting from 4th gear right into 6th just to save myself the extra shift from 5th gear. Probably a stupid question, but by avoiding 5th gear like that....it wont mess up anything, right? I'm pretty sure it wont, but these cars have a strange quirk about them sometimes, so ya never know...

I don't know much about the GenCoupes specifically, but I can't imagine this hurting anything.

Nope. Unless you are bogging the crap out of the car to do it, skip shifting isn't bad on anything. Stock auto trans do it a lot to save on gas.

No different than when I do 1-3-5.

Just don't lug/bunny hop and no harm at all.
