Default Rear mounted turbo on V6

Would something like this work out pretty well on a 3.8?

i looked at a kit for my 3.8l gen. lots of fab in addition to the kit but i had two local vendors who were very willing to answer all questions and were very flexible on price.

i'd love to see it come to fruition...

Wes@G&M put a turbo on his 3.8. You just have to know what you're doing, do your research, and find someone who can tune it (BTRcc).

There is a guy in Alberta (Holdon on GenCoupe) who did a rear mount setup, finally got it tuned and running safely.

Just like Majik said, you gotta know what your doing or pay people who do, and find someone competent to tune it. The RS3800 is a PITA when it comes to tuning. However, with the proper tune it seems to be able to hold 6-7psi reliably.

Ah yes, I didn't mean to imply that you used their kit. I should have been more specific

Glad to see you made your way to this site!
