Default R1 Concepts Rotors

Anybody have experience with these? I dont have Brembos but I want to upgrade my rotors and get some Hawk pads for better braking. This is a cheaper route then dropping $1,000+ on a Brembo upgrade

I see some Genesis vendors selling drilled and slotted rotors for $400+ for just a front or rear set. Seems like they are price gouging the consumers.

That's for all 4 rotors - not 2. I just ordered R1 Rotors from Invision tonight along with Steel Braided brake lines and Hawk HPS pads (Brembo front, non-Brembo rear). I'm doing a front Brembo upgrade.

seriously thats bullshit. i support the vendors in the genesis community but thats a $200 difference between whats on ebay and what invision sells. they're both R1 concept rotors. you cant tell me some of the vendors stay competitive in the market place when you see a really big price difference like that. if it was $30, 40, 50, maybe even 60 dollar difference I would buy from a community vendor just to support. but i cant justify a $200 difference. you would be stupid as hell to pay that much more. just my opinion. dont hate.

Also, you're comparing R1 Concepts "ELINE" on eBay vs. their "Premium" on Invision's website.

If you compare the same eBay seller's R1 Concepts Premium rotors to Invision Automotion's website, Invision Automotion is CHEAPER than R1 Concepts "sale" price.

Zing!

JFrusci, what's the weakness with your current braking system?

rotors are smaller. OEM pads suck.

Take a second to examine what you're critiquing before you go on a rant that vendors are "price gouging" when they're really offering a fairly good discount. 15-post noobs.

I'm sure we can offer R1 and be competitive against anybody. Gotta look into that.
