Default Leasing a Genesis
Does anyone here lease their genesis coupes? If you do, did you mod it or is it 100% stock since you have to give it back after 2 or 3 years?

I've know a couple people to buy out their lease after modding because they loved it and didn't want to get rid of it.

Leasing is dumb unless you plan on:



1. Never modding it

2. Only want the vehicle for 2-3 years at most

3. Prefer throwing money away (its like renting vs. owning a house debate)

I would never lease the car solely because it would be damn near impossible for me to keep it 100% stock

My sister who is rolling in cash has a different perspective from mine:


  • I always want a new car
  • I will therefore always have a car payment
  • I don't drive a lot
  • so . . . why NOT lease?
