If you did the throttle body coolant bypass mod on your car for the summer, put it back to stock if you live where it gets down to freezing temps during the winter months.

I've been driving like this for the last 5-6 winters and here is freaking cold... -20C is very common

Waste of time. Most aftermarket throttle bodies don't have coolant lines. Who actually swaps back to stock TB in the winter? I've never heard of one actually freezing up.

I was going to mention this, but I live in utopia weather, so I figured someone else from up north better chime in instead.

I might have to switch back. It gets all the way down to 40 degrees here.

The throttle body coolant lines are for if you will be doing extended driving at constant throttle in super-cold temperatures. If you can spit and it freezes before it hits the ground it's that cold out - AND you are driving long stretches of flat highway, you might need your throttle body to be heated.

I knew someone who did that mod on their car and didnt swap back during the winter. They had some massive issues when driving last year when it was almost -5 out.

I have a phenolic spacer on my intake manifold and bypassed coolant lines on my BBTB and I've never had a problem even in -20F weather.
