Title says all. How many of you Genesis owners have owned a Hyundai previous to your coupes? How many of you really know about the roots of Hyundai, the OG members who helped shape the scene, the R&D and late nights to get products developed, the constant work to get people to change their opinions and views of Hyundai's, the Korean shops who first started to offer products for Hyundai owners in America, etc.

I owned a 2000 Tiburon before my Genesis.

 

I currently have a 2008 Accent 3dr.

 

I had a Tiburon for almost 4 and a half years before my Genesis

 

This is my first one, but I'm learning alot about the past 15 years (the Golden Era of Hyundai's) through this website.

 

my dad bought an '11 sonata instead of waiting for the A7 a few months before i bought the gen

 

First Hyundai for me, but other family members have had them in the past.

 

I had a 2005 Tiburon GT

 

Previously a 2006 Sonata GLS with the 3.3 V6, Had it up to the 146MPH speed limiter once. Loved the car, but I prefer a coupe, so I bought a 2011 2.0T BASE for 20,000 from Shepard Motors in Eugene Oregon.

 

Maybe I'm reading too much into the OP's question, but it does seem a bit inflammatory. Are you saying the most GenCoupe owners don't know nor appreciate Hyundai's history?
