91,000 miles and my ball joints and bearings are still in great shape with no play in the wheels at all. I've never had to replace them and everything is still tight. My is lowered on coil overs too and my alignment is great. Not a lot of cars out there can go that long without having to replace all that stuff.

Good to hear that Hyundai has improved their R & D in the suspension department. The RD oem wheel bearings were complete trash. Went through 2 by 30k, had to replace all 4 at 60K! Went with Timken after that and all has been well almost 70k later. Also struts went out very quickly as well. Good know the Gen Coupes are fairing well suspension wise.

Damn. I've got 218k miles on one Accent and 190k on another, just finally need to replace one wheel bearing between them.

My genesis needed a wheel bearing.. after I dodged an SUV and went over a curb at 40 mph.. then a year later it got hit by a Nissan Titan - push over a curb, spun around and slammed into another curb with that wheel. Even then it was only showing signs of trouble at speed and most people wouldn't have noticed.

So yeah - id say they got tougher.
