Hyundai Aftermarket > Gen Coupe.com
Sounds like NT and CH had a baby and gencoupe is the douchy result.
People on NT are douchebags, people on CH are douchebags, and people on Gencoupe are douchebags. Can I make a stand against douchbaggery and hope that HA never becomes like those sites?

ok i'm not going to read 12 pages of insults that i may or may not agree with. IMHO, gencoupe has a lot of "i'm better than you" attitudes. But I have not seen problems with moderators. actually I have seen the opposite. I repeatedly bumped my pittsburgh meet thread in northeast (where pa is considered on almost any forum)and asked OVER and OVER again to have my thread moved to midatlantic where it belonged. then i PM'd mods to move it...no answer. So one of my buddies from EXD started a new thread out of protest and now i have two meet threads for the same pittsburgh meet. the old one has yet to be deleted and it is from february.
as far as vendors...what vendor hasnt caused problems here and there in the hyundai community...shark, evo, is, sfr, alpine, carbon man, kore, flyride, DD...they have all screwed a few members. hyundai communities just seem to have trouble with that.
with that said, my opinion is that v.org is wayyy worse than GC.com. you cant even edit important posts. my meet thread is a mess and the admins refuse to budge.
I did post a nice little thread about how our community (actually i am hyundailess right now but still active) has fallen apart a little. when i bought my RD2, every other tib owner would roll down their window and wave at me...just like harley guys. since the tail end of the tiburon and into the gen coupe scene...i just dont understand where the disconnect came from. Hyundai used to mean belonging to a family.
Im not here to bash anyone. I'm glad i found this place again. I had forgotten about it.
Im also gonna spam you guys and plug my pittsburgh meet...go check it out.
my 2 cents...take it or leave it
glad to be back

Feel free to promote your meet in every way here. We're a wonderful community on this site. We'll even promote your meet on the social networks if you would like.

Thank you. Iheart actually started the thread for me. i reposted the attendance list because it was exploding and i didnt want to bug her with all the names and info. there are 50 people now if you include the maybe's. I would love to see some members here come along. a few have already said so. I want at least one RD for sure. no luck on that. But to keep it on topic. the guys at GC have given me some sh*t for my thread and i have only had 1 guy say they were coming and 1 maybe...so a lot of bull crap there...lol...to stay on topic of course
and as far as promotion...i have to double check the parking situation at the pavillion and make sure there is room for more than the 40 cars already coming. i dont remember well enough. i believe there is but i want to check for sure. we have a facebook page and a facebook event page. If i decide there is enough room for more i will accept your invitation for promotion of the meet. I may own a lincoln at the moment, but my heart is still filled with hyundai love. I am just looking for the perfect project car. I want another RD2 (my car is the feature advertising photo on evo's page for the cuda 2 kit) but the support for mods is lacking to say the least
sorry, off topic again...damn GC.co...what a bunch of jerks...just kidding of course.

gencoupe.com is useful in that there is a decent amount of info to be had just by searching. but i have to agree with everyone else and their sentiments regarding the conduct of SOME vendors and the fact that there is really no monitoring or vetting done to these vendors. MOST users on there though are willing to help and answer questions, while some are just straight doucheybaggies. Yup. made that up right now son!
