Default How would you break your window to get out?

Suppose you get into an accident and something were to happen where the doors couldnt open. What would be the best way to break a window to get out if you dont have anything inside the car to shatter the window with? Most people could never do it with their bare hands so what other ways are there?

Seatbelt latch or shift knob. Put them in your hand and hope that you could punch through the glass.

I was thinking I'd swing my seatbelt buckle or a screwdriver, but http://jezebel.com/5929051/useful-in...nly-a-headrest

I don't worry about it. If the door won't open, crawl over to the other door. If the car is so smashed that neither door opens, I'm probably either unconscious or pinned in anyways. Not to mention, if the door takes a hard enough hit to wedge it closed the glass probably already broke. I don't waste time worrying about stuff that has a .01% chance of happening. I don't worry about getting hit by lightning, being attacked by a terrorist, or dying in a plane crash either.

Not sure if this works with Genesis head restraints but in older vehicles you could pull the headrest out and use the two metal prongs

I think the easiest way would be to use a foot to kick it open. Chances are there will be debris somewhere in the car that u can use as a tool to punch it with.
