No I am a mobile service tech... not for cars but for automotive equipment, tire changers, wheel balancers, brake lathes, alignment machines, fluid exchange equipment and automatic car washes. Dam thats a hell of a list. I am based in Sacramento CA and travel up to 3 hours one way some times for the large area I cover. But If I really had to break it down I would say easily half of the day im in my car driving, and yes I get paid to drive.

 

I spend about $275-$300 a month on gas...and that's with a Prius.

If I ride the Motorcycle, it's about $250-$275 It get's better mileage than the Prius does!

 

$400+ . I drive at least 200 miles/day for work :/

 

I routinely get anywhere from 30¢-$1.00 off per gallon at the pump through a rewards program in my state between a grocery chain with their own gas stations as well as all Shell gas stations. It's kind of cheating what I'm doing but it works 99% of the time and really helps out with 80-100+ miles driven a day (sharing a car).

 

I spend nothing for gas right now, my car is stored and I have a company work truck with a fleet credit card for gas. To fill up my work truck, it's apx. $125 a fill, twice a week, so $250 a week, $1000 a month. Holy crap!
