I want to learn to drift my car and I know theres some people who do it. Did you have to upgrade the ebrake and handle with something else or is the factory stuff just fine? Keep in mind I wont be going balls to the wall with the car since Im just going to be learning how to do it for the first time.

The stock ebreak as all you really need. Its a pain the ass because of its terrible location to begin with. Just remember to either use strong as tape or something to clamp down that ebreak button or else you might do drifts that will wear out your rear pads.

One thing you need to day to make sure it is efficient is to adjust the tension on the ebreak from the rear break rotors so that its tight lock on justa few clicks. I've had other ask me to drift their cars and due to their bad habbits of yanking on the ebreak when parking all the way up to heaven. The ebreak is dead and you have to really pull on it way back and hard. It gets annoying.

Check this vid out. (fast forword to 2.15mins)

you cant see it but you see how much of it i pull and thats because it locks right when i pull it up by .5 of an inch. Others you would be able to see the ebreak when locking which is not good.

All in all. You dont really neeed a Hydrolic ebreak, it would be nice to have and most definetly recomended if you ever plan on competing or perfecting your drifts.
