Josh in vegas is pushing somewhere between 470 & 500whp on his 2.0t. Honestly it's way too much for the car.. he has like no traction on the street.

A few people (including a girl I know locally), are between 380 & 420whp on their 2.0t's.. most daily them and are loving it.

there isn't much aftermarket yet for the 3.8 in the US.. and definitely no tuning solutions so supercharging isn't really an option... so I haven't heard of anyone getting way up there yet.

you mean to tell me that with the option to run at LEAST a 275 wide tire AND rear wheel drive

genesis coupes cant hook with ~500hp?

hell cobras can hook with twice that on the street with the same size tire

I run a 275 in the rear and hook just fine.. but i'm not at 500whp so I can't say.

I don't know what Josh is running in the rear.. he's on rpf1's if I remember right.. but he was all over the place.

^ My Tibby had a couple GC dinners alreaedy... But your Elantra would be so so funny, hear the spool see the tires break lose they pull you hook, they hear shift, spool.. then you pull like there standing still! The Gc are goregous cars, but i have test drove the v-6 and the 2t they just dont seem to worth all the hype! 3.8l does have some nuts for stock but it isnt what i was thinking it would be... I was expecting Skyline, got Miata!

Skyline? Miata? You realize the GC is cheaper than either of those, right?

what exactly were you expecting? power, handling, looks, options, fit and finish?
