Getting my white 2012 Genesis Coupe R-Spec in couple days!
Last week after selling my Tiburon I finally decided that instead of the hassle of trying to sell my Scion TC, I'm just going to go to the dealer and trade it in for a brand new 2012 Genesis Coupe.
My Tibby
My Supercharged Scion TC
Not the actual pic of car I'm buying but same color and this the look I'm trying to go for
I am so amazed how the dealer tried to rip me of on the first deal, they said that they will take my TC for $7500 I still owe 4k on it so that should leave me $3500, I sold my Tibby for 6k and I was planning to put down 5k as down payment leaving me with $8500 down total, the salesman ask if I could afford $329/72 months. I calculated it $329 x 72 = $23,688 + 8500 = $32,188. According to kbb.com 2012 2.0 R-spec msrp is $25,375 $6813 difference!!!
After many rip-off deals with the salesman I finally got enough with it and told him I'll just buy a used and start to walkout, while was at the parking lot the manager stopped me and gave me a better deal 16,823.36 out the door including the $8500 down, I know it’s still not a great deal but I think its decent and way better than $32,188. The car that I wanted was not available so I have to wait couple days it will be shipped from another state.

well, the $32,000 included interest over 6 years. Still, you got a better deal on the car.
Also, considering the 2013 model is out, your options are limited on an earlier model, in the specs and color you want. Good negotiating, now pick up the car and post pics!
What are your first mods going to be? BTRcc is near Chicago - I would have them tune it after you get FMIC, Turbo back exhaust, and intake.

HKC: Yeah I'll miss the tib too, I know you will cause you have your hood on that car. Next time I talk to the new owner I'll tell him to join this site
Visionz: Still dont have the car yet so only 2 so far lol, hope the dealer wont give me hard time with loan and stuff, I know I have a good credit but you never know what kind of crap they'll say just to get high interest. I have heard of people getting 25% if they do that to me all deals are off.
Optimoprime: Used 2010 models are already getting cheaper now, if I wasnt so impatient wanting to have a GC I would pay off my TC sell it and buy a used one and save tons of money.

$329 per month for 72 months at 3.09% is for a loan of $21,600. That would be $2,091 worth of interest (21,600 principal + 2,091 interest = 23,691).
So, yes, the $32,000 included interest.
$21,600 principal
$ 2,091 interest paid
$ 8,500 down payment
$32,191 total
So they were suggesting you buy the car for $31,100 ($21,600+8,500) plus interest, which is the price of a Fully Loaded 2010-2012 3.8 GC brand new. I'm glad you said no.
