Fender rusting
Do you guys think the fenders on the gen coupes will rust out as easily as other Hyundais? I have seen some Elantra and Tibs where the back fenders/quarter panels look like hell after 4 or 5 years and are either bubbling or totally rusted out.

I dont think so. all the hyundais my family has owned (around 13ish) have never had this happen. It probably depends where you drive it. =\

We dont have to worry too much about that here in Northern California but I have seen pics on cardomain and other sites of Hyundai's rusting out like crazy in the back panel area.

Hmm, I think it is a matter of how you take care of the car. My '99 Accent has zero rust and I live in the snow belt of Ontario (well, not this winter apparently lol), one of the reasons I bought it!
As soon as you let all that salt, water and sand sit in behind the rear wheels you start getting corrosion. Hence why a lot of people opt for oil spray coating.
