Can they be used safely on the interior or will they cause weird marks or fading?

 

They leave annoying little teensy fibers, and some will leave streaks especially on smooth surfaces. If you are cleaning off some nastiness they are ok, but if you are anal about your car, you might go crazy from the fibrous residue.
