If you haven't yet just take it in and have them replace it. It literally takes 20 minutes. And if that recall is going to make my car "unreliable," well I'll take that since I consider it minor.

I think it might be the pile of replaced transmissions Hyundai has somewhere or the gremlins that seem to be an issue with the 10-12 boosted coupes. The 13s have had issues with the new hyundai auto (flash is out to fix most of it) and more of the same with clutches that can barley hold on to stock power. I noticed the 13 v6s are having some issues with the stockers a bit like the 10-12 4 cyls did. There have also been some fun problems with the 13s and exploding plastic intake manifolds. More than a few gencoupe.com owners have seen that. I love my gencoupe, but in many ways my HD Elantra felt more solid. Just slower... and fwd... and not bright green. That brake light thing is an issue for those that didn't get the letter since it could cause something to end up in your truck, like another car that had no idea you were slowing down.
