Default Will Mitsubishi Evo injectors fit a beta?

Does anybody know if I can use injectors from an Evo on my car? I can get a set really cheap for my soon to start turbo build and wanted to double check before I shell out the cash.

Just swapping injectors will cause all kinds of problems. You need to compensate with a tune. If you don't tell your computer you are running larger injectors it will use the fuel maps for the stock injectors and dump too much fuel in, notice it, try to correct it, and confuse itself. How much boost do you plan on running? EVo injectors might be over-kill. A lot of Honda guys use DSM injectors. That should be plenty sufficient enough. If they bolt right into your stock fuel-rail.

IF (very very big IF) all you needed was more fuel, then larger injectors are a possible cure. To do a turbo right, you want control over timing as well, and preferably on- and off-boost control as well as part-throttle control at various engine speeds, preferably tuned on a dyno.

He didn't say anything about running them untuned nor did he ask how to tune his car.

I doubt that they will be PNP.

Sorry guys. I thought all Evo injectors were pretty much the same since they're all part of similiar 4G63 derivative engines. The injectors I was specifically wondering about were the Evo IX. Its going to take me awhile to get this turbo finished so Im starting small and getting the little first like injectors, BOV (got a 2nd gen DSM one for now), and IC piping.

i dont think they are the right type of injector to drop in and PnP.

good luck on your turbo build, do things right the first time and spend $$$ where its needed or you will end up spending more in the end and having a very expensive headache..

I can get you pretty much any injector size you could be looking for or any turbo part for that matter, just an FYI.

Bmxer (?) says the injectors for a WRX are a drop-in with an o-ring replacement.
