Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. These characteristics make the Hyundai Elantra a great car for those who want sports car performance with family car flexibility.

Thanks all. Sorry bout the search thing. But, I didn't know if the 2001 TB had that coolant line ( or shall we say heater line smile.gif ) on it. And the TB spacer don't think anyone has meantioned it here other than an IM spacer which might be cool to have running NO2.</div>Ammoman recently had a thread on a TB spacer, and the coolant line is the same as the Old Beta. The TB spacer is a bad idea, as the IM still gets hot. A TB Spacer would also mess up the throttle cables. A IM spacer seperating the IM from the head would keep both the IM and TB cooler (once that coolant line is removed and re-routed). I'm looking in to getting one made now.
