Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. These characteristics make the Hyundai Elantra a great car for those who want sports car performance with family car flexibility.

Default Race seats in the rear

I can get a good deal on 4 brand new race seats. 2 in the front and 2 in the back, but how would I go about attaching them in the back? The back seat is all one piece and doesnt have rails like the fronts do. And once I do find a way to attach them safely, will it look ok since theres no center section?

install 2 in the front of your car and sell the other two they will NEVER fit in the rear.

Absolutely not, don't even think about it!

back seats are small and in two pieces

back seats cover the fuel pump

back seats need to fold

this will put the seat belts out of whack

say goodbye to your 5th passenger, this also makes the vehicle type approval lapse, which shitcans your insurance

Besides, an elantra will never corner hard enough with back seat passengers for them to need bucket seats. Good lord.

Seen this done before. Looks really really really stupid.

Also it's terribly uncomfortable for anyone that tries to sit back there.
