overspray removal
Hey guys
Bought a set of used tails and have some overspray on them from when the precious owner painted his car. Any suggestions on how to remove it? It looks pretty thick, almost as if the guy had no idea how to mask them off the right way. Pretty sure theres primer under the overspray too. Will wet sanding the overspray off scratch or damage the tails any?

If it's on the face of the tails you could carefully sand it down, or use a moderately abrasive rubbing compound. I would round it off with some PlastX because that will help ensure the lens looks clear. Either that or take the opportunity to niteshade your tails since you're doing 3/4 of the work already anyways.
