DO THIS!!!!!!! just took my resonator off.... it was a bytch to get out but it sounds soooo much better.... it's a little deeper now.... i'm happy with how it sounds..... for now

Yeah, I usually cut holes in the intake box too, but I'm not sure if you can on the HD. Probably though.

I would imagine it sounds better for sure. When I installed my K&N SRI on my accent I saw that they have a resonator box wish i saw that before would've taken that off much sooner.

my accent had a sri on it but with the resonator off my elantra sounds "beastier" now i just have to get the other 2 resonators off and i'll be happy

my accent had a sri on it but with the resonator off my elantra sounds "beastier" now i just have to get the other 2 resonators off and i'll be happy

How much louder is it? Did you notice anything, like maybe a .00001% gain? tongue.gif

it's not really louder it's deeper.... from my SOTP test i can tell it is a little more responsive when you hit the gas
