Inexpensive modifications
So, I've been opening my options to inexpensive modifications for my XD2, Considering I'm unemployed. So, I was wondering, Any ideas'? Anyone? Shifter boots? Interior LED? Any feedback on this?

welcome! if you have a manual, i would start of with:
shifter bushings: http://www.kjbmotorsports.com/trans-hyu-elantra.html
short shifter from arkracing.com: http://www.arkspeedracing.com/2000_HY_Elan...ss0701-9700.htm
some HID's. hmm, you can get them for under $100/pair. i got mine from user Jay-M
dulpicolor caliper paint to protect them from rust.
mobis leather shift knob: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-05-Hyund...=item414511cf5e
AEM 2.5' DRYFLOW air filters from ebay with a warm air intake (i suggest a WAI because the filter will not get as dirty)
that's pretty much it. if you need help with LED's, i have some experience with them and can walk you through gauge illumination but that's the best cheapest coolest mod you can do considering you spend many hours doing it on your own.

TB coolant bypass mod is free. Not big results, but it's free.
Slave cylinder mod is free. Clutch engagement is improved.
Debadging is free if you don't have to fill holes (not sure on Elantras).
