Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. Default How sensitive should I set my shock sensor?

I know some people who have their sensors set to be super sensitive. If a leaf falls on the car, it goes off. I was thinking maybe it would be good to have it so that if someone hit the car hard enough to cause any kind of a dent, it would go off. Is that not sensitive enough, or just right?

If you could somehow increase the sensitivity when your neighbours are sleeping; you want it just sensitive enough for a sleeping cat or falling branch to set it off.

I would say set if to where its not to sensitive but enough to where if you pull the door handle and let it go it would go off... if that's not to much....

Where do you have your sensor at? That will determine some things as well as far as how sensitive it is.
