Default Elantra GT cam

On the SR website it says that it is a good cheap mod for horsepower. Can it be used on a 2.0l tiburon? how much hp would it actually give?
Thanks

The XD elantra cam works on tiburon motors.

No one really knows how much HP it gives, as no one has done a before and after dyno. The best guess is between 2 and 7 HP.

In my opinion it is 5 HP or under. the specs are just not that far off from a stock cam, and aftermarket cams that replace both intake AND exhaust, that are of higher specs only claim to make 10% (14 HP).

However it is still a cheap mod for the gain.
