Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. These characteristics make the Hyundai Elantra a great car for those who want sports car performance with family car flexibility.

Thanks for posting that for me Random! (I feel special ;-)

I am psyched about them... I looked at the installation instructions for the Tibby and almost took the Browns to the Super Bowl! Started taking off my dash cover and all, then noticed that it was not as hard as the Tibby. Just a few screws and you can pull that gauge cluster right out.

The picture really does not do the justace, the color is actually more blue. Theses are really one of the best interior mods I could think of... really nice looking! I should be able to get a picture of them during the day up here today...

I'm adding this day pic to my post.

Do they even put the Km/h on them. When will the U.S. ever catch up to the rest of the world and go with the metric system.
Those are sweet. Even if the km/h was in smaller letters.... I don't mind squinting! Seriously though, does anyone know where I can get these gauges in km/h. Maybe Korea?

Hey flutemuffin, I noticed that your CEL is on did you not unplug the battery before removing the gauge cluster or is that from something else? does your clock not display at night with lights on?

Oh, that's because I had the key turned to the auxillary position, so the lights were on. Yup, I made sure to disconnect my battery and no lights are on when the car is on ... Whew, scared me there!
