Hello,
I am new to this forum. i am hoping someone can help me. i am getting DTC 2231 on my 2005 elantra i have learned that this is a code for a short in the heater circuit for the o2 sensor. can someone tell which one it is. there are two sensors. one before the converter and one after. than you for your time.

It it is the sensor in the manifold (bank 1 sensor 1). Replace that sensor and reset the ECU.
