Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. These characteristics make the Hyundai Elantra a great car for those who want sports car performance with family car flexibility.

I cannot imagine a more ignorant response to such a simple question.

I am working on the opposite currently, my car is white and I'm painting them black (stock is chrome), but my wife has a Fit with this style headlight and it does look good.

Really good at opening up the conversation for this guy aren't you.

Not one car in your search results is an Elantra.

Not one of those images details the steps of removing an Elantra headlight.

Not one of them conveys the difficulty of baking and re-sealing the lenses.

So you based your answer on the idea that it might be possible that this guy has never seen a non-oem painted headlamp, and that his entire question was weather anyone in the world had ever done it. Congratulations, you have answered the simplest part of his question.

The answer to the question "has anyone" is "yes"

My answer was above and beyond.
