Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. These characteristics make the Hyundai Elantra a great car for those who want sports car performance with family car flexibility.

Ummmmm, Guys. SR has a Universal Exhaust system for all Hyundais. It runs about $230. Comes with everything you need, plus muffler. From what I saw at Hyundai Tuner, it is a bolt on and go system. Sounds good too.

No, its not true...that is just the universal muffler that they have...how can a cat-back be universal?? Do all cars have the same exhaust set up? I think not.

When you tell them which car you have, From what I understand they make it there for you and send it. It is a bolt on application for the car you stated.

I would post some pictures of the exhaust being installed on an Accent, but Hyundai Tuner is experiencing problems at the moment. He has Pictures Showing how it bolts on, Plus an MPG showing how the Exhaust sounds.

Angel the best place in Ontario to get a cat back for a 2001 Elantra would be Brullen in Markham, followed by MBRP but they are far. Both are expensive but do a top quality job, either would love to get a 2002 gt in their shop to make a template to mass produce an elantra exhaust for the 2001+ models.

How much do you think they would charge. I'm not ready for one just yet but hopefully I will get one sometime this summer :-)
