Hyundai Elantra Forum The Hyundai Elantra Forum. Later models (96-up) of this 4-door share their Beta engines and chassis with the Hyundai Tiburon. Earlier Mistubishi-based Hyundai Elantras (92-95) are perfect candidates for the popular 4g63t motor swap, which turns the Hyundai Elantra into a real sleeper. These characteristics make the Hyundai Elantra a great car for those who want sports car performance with family car flexibility.

Default Carbon fiber wrapped interior

How would the interior of an Elantra looked CF wrapped? You see that with more higher end cars so would it look tacky or classy?

Tacky IMO, keep it stock.

ive seen a few cars thru work that people try to pull it off on and it just looks cheesy and cheap.

But this isnt my car, so if you like the look of CF go for it.

I think it would look good on a full show car.

I think CF wrapping is lame.

I wrapped a few pieces and it can look good, I dont know that I would do the entire interior but to each there own. What I can tell you is that over time (couple years) it will begin to peel off from the plastic of the parts you wrap, the resin will not bond with plastic. Best bet is to take your part, make a mold then make a real carbon fiber piece from said mold.
