Got a hole in my muffler (hit a rock in the road that popped up and put a quarter size hole in it). So I saw these for $15. What does HA think about it? Junk or should I just spend the money on a good high quality name brand universal?

That looks like something one would use in a State that mandates a muffler being in place. I doubt it would do anything other than check a block to say.. yep.. that's a muffler on it.
