Default 02 sensor issues

I have been unable to get the engine light to clear - I have changed the 02 sensors several times and the engine light goes back on after a short while.

I have spent a lot trying to get this diagnosed. The dealer keeps changing the 02 sensor and will probably want to rip out the replace the entire heating circuit next. I'm going broke. Anyone have any ideas? The latest error code is P0036.

Thanks for any help!

What were the previous codes? Either you're getting the wrong kind of sensor, or you're replacing the wrong part. If you can lay hands on a real-time scanner or get a bluetooth OBD reader (ebay search term: ELM327) to use with a phone and the Torque app, you can view the O2 sensor readings when the car is running. That could be very useful.

I assume you've checked the fuse? The O2 sensor heating circuit is fused.
