Hello guys,
i just want to inform you that the new modification to my car has been finished
The car now has a turbocharged 2,4L hyundai 'Serius 2' engine with 4WD.I believe it will reach 500hp with a good tune.
I posted some new pictures in cardomain with the new engine and the rear differential .The dyno sheet is from the old 2.0 engine so when i dyno the new engine i will post it

Whoa, what? I remember seeing this car with a beta II CVVT. No doubts about it, it was putting down 373 fwhp! Pretty sure it was only 2wd back then though. I can't find any pics though.
Seriously cool project.

been reading up on this. the tuscon used a beta engine and shared platform with the elantra not the santa fe. the tucson 4wd system is not very effective. its 99%fwd but xfrs power to the rear wheels when it is needed. u can lock it into 4wd but the rears only work under 25mph. maybe good for off the line launch but after adding all the xtra weight and all the work that would go into the conversion it should be full time awd.
-still researching the santa fe, i believe it is awd but uses the delta v6.
-also the theta is available in awd in the world engine alliance (evo, jeep, etc). not sure if the theta is small enough to fit in an accent engine bay or not.
