Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Who has an Accent?

Boy, that changes the shape of the car.

Hello, busy_squirrel,

Really? I had no idea there was a magazine by that name. I doubt very much the name makes reference to the magazine, though; instead, I believe it would translate to vigor, zeal, or spirit.

Some time later this month, I hope to begin the modification of the fenders. I am planning on widening the fenders in a style similar to the Accent WRC rally cars. I am still undecided as to whether or not to make them out of fiberglass (an easier medium for me with which to work) or metal. I've never worked with sheetmetal, so it may prove to be a good learning experience.

Either way, I've already begun taking measurements.

Take care.

Sincerely,

Eric Torres
