Where have I been?
Well, it's good to finally be back on this site. After a few days of having no Internet connection what so ever, I took it upon myself to start a project. After 3 days of extensive planning and measurement taking, I finally have it all bent and welded together. Now, I just have to get the mount welded on, and I'm set. What is it? A new CAI for my Accent. I got tired of my flextube intake which rubbed my battery, so I designed and built a new one. Price to me? $10 thanks to the people at a local muffler shop and my cousin, the iron worker. It looks just like an AEM, same color and everything. I'll post pics once it is all together and 100% complete. Later!

I was in the process this morning, and it didn't fit as expected. It needs to be shorter coming up from the filter, and longer after the bend, connecting to the MAF sensor. This means that I have to make some more cuts and weld it up again. It should be done by tomorrow.
