Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Default where to find

Sorry can't find my original post about my cars chugging engine problem with check engine code 2188. I finally got my hands ona code reader that can read real time data. Is there a place I could find out what the normal ranges are. For example I notice my coolant sensor had a reading at 198 f after 5 km of driving. All the way up to 210 f at one point. However I though the thermostat is a 180 f. Now my temperature gauge is still in the normal range. I checked out the hma service site but wasn't that helpful. As they only gave reading for sensor running certain codes.

Any help would be greatly useful. Hopefully I can finally solve this problem.

have you changed your thermostat? it could be a clog, broken waterpump, or leak in waterpump/radiator. how are your coolant levels? do they bubble after driving?
