Default what's faster lanos hatch or accent hatch?

i want to get a newer car cause mine has like 130,000 miles and i don't want to invest mods into a car that has that many miles so which car is faster stock, and which has more aftermarket folowing right now. oh and i like the way the lanos looks a little bettter compared to the 2k+ accents but not as much as the 95- 99 accents. thank alot

Honestly I don't realy know. 'Cause I've never driven an accent. I do own a 2001 Lanos though. I'm not saying its a race car right off the lot but it will surprise you. If you want style go for the lanos. Accent doesn't look all that great to me.

Id get the Lanos. SInce youre here in Southern California, you can get parts from our oceanside store for really cheap like body kits, etc..

But honestly, I would either get the Kia Rio 2001, or wait for the 2002 Rio to come out. it will have the same power as the accent, but quarter mile time is faster i believe.

Plus its the cheapest of all of the cars.

Get that or the new kia spectra 4 door.

I'm going with the accent, but i'm pretty biased. But honestly if you want to go fast, both of these have a lot of work to be done to them. frown

ive driven a 5door lanos (which is not sold in the us), it was a 1.6L if im not mistaken, they both have pretty much the same speed, altough the lanos picks it up faster. both are ok, i would go with accent bc of the warranty and there are more aftermarket parts for it.
