Default Trip Computer

Is it possible to add the OEM trip computer to my '04 Accent 4door, which it was not installed on? A readout on instant and average MPG would help me decrease my fuel usage on the road. Not saying that ~27/30mpg isn't great, but I feel like I can definitely get more out of it.

If it was an option for your car, then maybe. It could be as easy as the dealer flashing the computer or as hard as installing a new computer, wiring harness, and dashboard instrument panel.

Or you could go the easy way http://www.amazon.com/ScanGaugeE-Mul...ds=scangauge+2

It wasn't an option. Scangauge or Bluetooth OBDII connecter and tablet or smartphone to monitor mileage.

It WAS an option for my car, as it is in the manual, and nothing aesthetic needs to change, the trip reset button just does not cycle through trip modes.
