I have heard that advancing the timing of my engine would improve the way it runs. It's that real?? It's that recommended?? What else do I have to change to make it work properly??

yes it would help but you can't do it with out messing with the comp! unless you have a distributor and you don't it's not easy with out a computer chip or some other piggy back computer!!
