Default suspension q's

someone tell me what the hell kind of rear suspension the LC hatch has? does it has struts or not? trying to settle a debate and also plan for springs for my MC in the future... lots of aftermarket seller sites claim the suspension has been the same since the LC first debuted, i know the MC has a multilink rear cuz i has one.

LC/LC2 Accent has a MacPherson strut rear suspension which is 100% not compatible with the MC.

see thats what i originally thought, then when looking for springs i stumbled upon KFX which has H&R springs listed for the MC, but the part number is clearly for LC's. upon looking into it, every source said the LC had a multilink rear...
