Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

Go. It's all about YOU knowing what your car can do, not what everyone else thinks...

*If you're into impressing chicks*, then I'd say go with mostly show, like a veilside kit definately. Then for the "go", get a nice nitrous kit, like a NX or NOS. These are cheaper than turbos so you can save more for the "show". I can't count how many chicks say "huh?" when I mention a turbo, but completely DROOOOL when they hear and then see my 15lb. nitrous bottle in the back. wink tongue.gif

Like to look good and get the girls, then go for the bodykit and the interior and paint and spoiler.

Want to whoop candy ass? Then go for the intake plenium, CAI, headwork, cams, overbore and turbo. And spoiler. It adds 100BHP by looking cool.

Which do you like better, to ride on the edge of ahedsion, testing yourself and your machine to the maximum limit of your courage or to just sit back and look pretty?

It's all about what YOU want to do and what YOU'RE interested in. No-one can make this decision for you, why not go to the track and put in a few laps and see how you feel about it, then go to a show and check out the atmosphere. See if you like the ppl at the track better or the ppl at the show better. You'll find out what you like a lot quicker this way.

I have chosen GO. Because it is more challenging.

Take your time and do both. Have the nice body kit with the interior done, then afterwards save up some more money and do the turbocharger, make some people think that you are all show and no go, and then blow them out of the frame, well that is my goal for my car.

I guess it's your own call if you follow any of the suggestions here. But for me, a bit of some.

i have something to say...if your moding your car just to get chicks??? what kind of chicks are you going to pick up??? one night standers?? not my choice...but i'm married and no longer have a choice....but seriously...i would do something because you want to do it...not to try and impress other people! especially woman...they will change their minds in a matter of minutes...you'll always have to go bigger and better then the next guy...and besides chicks dig honda/acura...atleast thats how it is around my parts!! just my .02

Do both...start simple with bolt ons and a kit, then see what you like doing to the car better and take it from there smile.gif

I would say do both. Get a kit, rims, stereo, nice interior. Then save up for a turbo and everything. Do both, that is what I am doing with my LC. Peace.

It is your car, but I would put some show mods like rims, simple body kit and suspensions. Later I woulkd put some performance upgrades, off course if I had enough money to do so
Peace!
