Finally got a pic of my clutch after it died on me at 20,433 miles.

mine was "burnt"....the mechanic was so shocked when he saw burn marks on the clutch cover....and its only 45000km

it looks like that cluthc has long been DEAD. it's missing like 3/4 of the front plate (whatever it's called). oh and how much to replace.

Heh, the other 3/4 was spattered in my bellhousing or jammed into the pressure plate.

well you lucked out, i blew the clutch in my elantra and when it went, it took the flywheel and my dealer said it was driver error and that i owe them 1100 for parts and labor.

Call the hyundai 1-800 customer service center and ask to be put in contact with your regional Service rep. He should hopefully take care of it for ya.
