Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

i would've gone the renault sport clio route, mid or rear engined delta v6, less power than boost but more useable and better sound.

yeah, i'm a sucker for wanting driving refinement over raw power on the proper drive wheels..

reminds me of the dragon twin engined RD tiburon..always wanted to see the photos of the rear mounted engine.

I saw it when it was still at McEntyre Hyundai in El Paso. It was nothing much to look at. Sheet metal rear firewall, and basically an empty cargo area with a normal engine/transaxle in there. MUCH more impressive in motion from a distance, than in person up close. The interior was pretty sparse also - but it wasn't built for show.

Thats cool and all but the money spent doing a rear engine install could have been spent on the stock engine in the front and made it just as great.
