Rear brake discs on 00 LC
I was wondering if it be possible to install rear hubs, discs, calipers and lines from a tiburon or elantra gt to a 2000 accent? I know its a different bolt pattern but I know a Place here in PR that can re-drill the hubs and disc to change the pattern and even make 5 hole disc, But the thing is that I don't know if the rear hubs from a tib will fit,, If anyone have info for this i'll apriciate the help,,, thanks!!!
Some people replace the LCs rear drums with the rotors/brakes/pads from the Mitsubishi Mirage, but I don't remember which years are compatible. It's supposed to be a bolt on affair, and it keeps the front and rear wheels with the same bolt pattern, so it's easier to find wheels that match on the front and back.
Thats what I heard but at least here in Puerto Rico, none of the mirage from 93- up to 02 came with rear disc brakes so can I use the fronts??, If not I think I'm gonna use the discs from a tib and re-drill the holes, if anyone know please help!!

The problem is that you can't just bolt up the calipers so you'll need to do something for the brackets. As far as pressing in a Tiburon's hub, I don't think it would do you any good unless you were trying to change to 4x114.3 bolt pattern.
You can't use front calipers unless you're willing to give up your e-brake.

Has anyone even tried the rotors from a MINI?!! They have the same 4x100 bolt pattern just need to find out if they fit the hub. If so then caliper brackets and calipers should fit.

Calipers and caliper brackets from what should work? Tons of cars have 4x100 bolt patterns, from Golfs to Civics...but the rotors are actually the easiest component to make work. It's mounting the calipers in a usable position that makes it difficult.

yeah yeah I know. its not an exact idea, but hell its an idea... but if they fit our hub then it shold work either way...no sense why not. Also those civics and golf are all old. Im talking something new that also might have good aftermarket support too. Its worth a shot. hel JAPAKOS got WRX rotors to fit just because the rotor fit the hub...so who knows.

he got sti calipers to fit on the accent spindle with custom brackets,
stock sti rotors were drilled to 4x100 and voila..sick sti front brakes on a lc
it's the brackets that are the most hardest part to a brake caliper upgrade
give me a bench drill, some half inch thick steel plates and watch me work
