Can someone explain "cut" as in cutting pads? Is this just the term used to apply the polish, or something more? Can you polish with a soft pad?



How do you know when the polish is broken down?



I have a 12" sears orbital buffer and have been using with the same pad for everything. It works well to put on cleaners and wax. It fills in the swirls, but they are still there.
