Default NOS for Accent Y2K - possible?

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to setup a NOS system for the Y2K Accent? The problem is that fuel rail type is RETURN-LESS.

There's no way to increase the fuel pressure too...unless changing the fuel pump?

Returnless fuel lines can be make to return...but it is a major PITA, and requires some extensive plumbing.

Sport Compact Car did a workup of a Miata with a returnless fuel injection system, and they were able to up the fuel pressure somehow. I'll try to dig up the article and post up how they did it.

To answer your question, yes, it can be done. You just give the ECU a "big" enough air signal to compensate for the Nitrous, and it will inject the right amount of fuel. A Venom type system (lap top controled) would probably work best.

Your 98 Accent does not have a "returnless" fuel system like the newer Accents.

When I manage to find that damn article...I'll post up the details.
