gsi,
Did you have to modify the intake to make it fit?
Can you say how much it cost?
By the way, your car looks great!I love the hood!

I don't understand why CAIs are made out of metal...that seems pointless to me since metal reatins more heat than the stock plastic intake, thus the heat in a metal tube would be hotter, not colder...I understand the velocity part...but then again some CAI have more 90 degree turns than the race game in Tron...

dude you better get a bypass valve, with filter that low you WILL have hydrolic lock when it rains

Actually, it takes a LOT of water to cause and engine to hydrolock, as in you pretty much have to submerge the filter. Often there's not enough suction to pull a significant amount of water up the intake. Most likely, the most you'll ever get is a bit of steam from a bit of water getting on the filter. But if all the engine shields (under the front bumper) and the fenderwell shields are in place, you'll have nothing to worry about unless you tend to drive your car through streams and such. It's a good precaution to put a bypass valve on, but 99.9% per cent of the time, you'll never encounter a situation where you'll need it.
